Big Fresh presented a unique challenge for Metro Deco, with our team appointed midway through construction to assess, rectify and complete a project that had significantly diverged from the approved design documentation. Following a comprehensive review of the existing works, we carefully identified the elements requiring demolition, redesign and reconstruction, restoring the original design intent while maintaining the client's budget and programme.
To ensure complete control over quality and lead times, much of the rectification work was hand fabricated and completed in-house by our skilled team. From custom joinery and detailed finishes through to coordinating the remaining trades, every aspect of the project was carefully managed to deliver a seamless final result. Metro Deco successfully transformed a partially completed site into a fully operational retail environment, completing the remaining 50% of the project in just six weeks—a testament to our ability to solve complex construction challenges and deliver under demanding timeframes.
