Gyuniku was a complete transformation of an existing CBD tenancy, delivered for one of Metro Deco’s long-standing clients. Having completed more than 10 large-format stores exceeding 400m² across several of the client's brands, our team understands both their operational requirements and the importance of delivering new concepts quickly. Working with little more than the brand concept, Metro Deco helped develop the construction details on site, transforming the existing space into an entirely new venue in just four weeks.
Rather than starting from a blank canvas, the project required careful assessment and rehabilitation of the existing tenancy, including retaining and upgrading the commercial kitchen to meet the requirements of the new operation. Our team coordinated the design development, specialist trades, services and detailed construction simultaneously, with much of the craftsmanship resolved and executed directly on site. For high-value CBD locations, every additional day closed represents lost revenue.
